The Blair Witch Project, directed by two student film makers is about 3 different aspiring film makers who embark on a journey into the woods to uncover a secret legend.Many critics say it is the scariest movie since the Exorcist. I found it very scary, probably the scariest movie i've ever seen. I definetely liked the unique idea, it was different from anything i've ever seen before. I would recommend it only if u like a good scare though! (Rated R) Austin Powers 2 Austin Powers is back and Dr. Evil has stolen his "mojo." Austin and his partner in crime and love Felicity Shagwell struggle against Dr Evil and his evil sidekicks to get his "mojo" back. Although the movie had it's funny parts, many of the scenes are repetitive and even dull at parts. This movie doesnt prove nearly as funny as the original.(99 mins, pg-13) Eyes Wide Shut The movie everyone is talking about "Stanley Kubrick's final masterpiece". Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman play a married couple embarking on a sexual odyssey. Said to be very artsy and deep. American Pie Four high school friedns decide to lose their virginity by prom night. This movie is all about sex and every high schooler i've talked to has raved about it. Full of laughs. Good if your looking for some tasteless, yet hilarious comedy! (98 mins, R) Drop Dead Gorgeous One word-BORING!! This movie bored me to death, 95 minutes of pure hell. Every minute of the movie was an awful atempt to be funny. This movie failed to make me or anyone else in the theater and by the end i was laughing at the fact that i spent 6.25 to actually sit through the movie. (95 mins, pg-13) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Lake Placid | A killer crocodile roams through the Maine woods on a killing spree? Could it be the next Jaws or will it be more like the unrealistic, almost funny Anaconda? It's definitely not the next jaws. Bad Jokes and special effects resembling a computer screen. Not recommended. (R, Pg-13) The Haunting A Psychologist runs a case study in a haunted house using those staying in the house his experimental guineau pigs. The movie is suppossed to scare, right? It had me laughing. It proved to be very boring and drawn out, although some of the special effects and scenery was well done.
